Mumbai, March 16 -- Mumbai City FC held off a spirited Inter Kashi fightback to register a 2-1 win in their Indian Super League match in Kolkata on Sunday. This was Mumbai City's third win of the campaign, taking them up to third place in the standings with 11 points, while Inter Kashi remain eight with five points. Noufal PN opened the scoring in first half stoppage time for the Mumbai team. Mumbai City skipper Lallianzuala Chhangte delivered an inviting corner, leading to a scramble for the ball that ended with Noufal slotting the ball past the goalkeeper. Rohit Danu equalised six minutes into the second half, after heading home a perfectly delivered cross from Sandip Mandi on the left flank. The celebrations, however, were short-lived as Chhangte scored just a minute later to put his team into the lead again. Charging into the box, Mumbai's Spanish forward Jorge Ortiz placed the ball onto this captain's path, and Chhangte made no mistake from close range.
