Cattle Chronicles: mathura to house museum on cows
Agra, Feb. 16 -- India's first cow museum, aimed at "showcasing the religious, cultural and spiritual significance of the cow along with its scientific utility", will be set up at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Veterinary Science University in Mathura, the Uttar Pradesh Braj Teerth Vikas Parishad announced on Sunday.
In a statement, it said the museum will seek to create awareness about cow conservation and educate visitors about the animal's role in Indian tradition, rural economy and dairy science. P9...
