New Delhi, April 9 -- The Union Cabinet on Wednesday cleared Rs.41,533 crore towards nutrient-based fertiliser subsidy for Kharif crops, raising it by nearly 12% from the previous cycle, a move to make up for higher costs and cushion farmers amid supply disruptions due to the West Asian conflict.
