Act of Kindness Lands U.P. Good Samaritan on Death Records
Kanpur, Feb. 24 -- An act of kindness is what killed 32-year-old autorickshaw driver Gaurav Sahu -- at least on paper.
Sahu, a resident of Ambedkar Nagar of Uttar Pradesh, found this on January 7 when he went to collect monthly ration, only to be denied by the shop owner. According to the system, he was dead. The confusion began last September after Sahu admitted a man to a hospital using his own Aadhaar card. The man later died.
