MUMBAI, March 4 -- A 30-year-old man was arrested on Monday for allegedly stabbing his brother-in-law to death after the latter intervened in a domestic dispute between him and his wife in Vile Parle East, police said. The victim, Sagar Gupta, 24, had gone to visit his sister on Sunday at her residence in Shastri Nagar when an argument broke out between her and her husband, Akash Maurya, around 10.30pm. As Gupta tried to calm Maurya, he allegedly became aggressive and threatened to kill Gupta. When the victim did not back down, Maurya picked up a knife from the kitchen and stabbed him. Gupta was rushed to Cooper Hospital where he was declared dead. Based on a complaint filed by the victim's mother, police registered a murder case under relevant sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita and arrested Maurya on Monday....
