PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 23 -- Uttar Pradesh legislative assembly speaker Satish Mahana said on Sunday that women's education forms the foundation of a strong and progressive society. He further said that the growing participation of girls in higher education would significantly accelerate the development of the state. Mahana was addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone of Spark University Shyama Devi Women's University in Rajapur ward of Gadwara nagar panchayat in Pratapgarh district. Earlier, students of Saket Inter College welcomed Mahana and other guests.
