LUCKNOW, March 25 -- A young woman was allegedly duped of Rs.3.64 lakh by cyber fraudsters who kept her under 'digital arrest' and threatened her with arrest on the pretext of unpaid tax on a parcel, police said on Tuesday. A complaint was lodged on the cyber helpline 1930. Hazratganj SHO Vikram Singh said an FIR under Section 66D of the IT Act 2008 had been registered and further investigation was underway. The victim, Anita Kashyap, 26, a resident of Lalbagh Beldari, claimed she received a WhatsApp call on March 3 from an unknown number.
