LUCKNOW, March 8 -- A woman has accused a female doctor and hospital staff of physical assault, harassment, and intimidation at Ram Manohar Lohia Institute of Medical Sciences (RMLIMS) Hospital late on Saturday. The woman claimed she visited the hospital's emergency wing with her younger sister where a doctor attempted to administer an injection but struggled. When the woman questioned her, the doctor jabbed the injection into her sister. As she threatened to complain, the doctor slapped her. She further alleged that security guards and hospital staff beat her and her sister. After the incident, around two dozen advocates reached the spot and allegedly created a ruckus, pressing for an FIR. Amar Singh, inspector, Vibhuti Khand, said an FIR has been registered. It was registered under BNS section 115 against a woman guard and BNS section 74 against a doctor. RMLIMS officials were not available for comment. htc...
