WOLF TERROR IN BAHRAICH
India, Dec. 31 -- Bahraich saw a series of wolf attacks since September 9. As many as 13 people, including 11 children and an elderly couple, were killed since then. The sudden resurgence of attacks alarmed villagers and prompted intensified action by forest authorities. The pattern of attacks highlighted growing human-wildlife conflict in the region, particularly in villages located near forested areas. In response, forest department shooters eliminated five wolves so far.
