UPPSC declares LT Grade (Prelim) Exam Results
PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 19 -- The Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission (UPPSC) on Wednesday declared the results of the preliminary examination for LT Grade (Assistant Teacher/Trained Graduate) Recruitment 2025 for government secondary schools.
The results have been announced for Science, Home Science, Sanskrit and Commerce subjects.
The Commission said that in Science, Home Science and Sanskrit, the required 15-times number of candidates against the notified vacancies could not be shortlisted as many candidates failed to secure the prescribed minimum qualifying marks.
The preliminary examination for Science posts was conducted on December 7 for 764 posts in the male branch and 573 in the female branch, along with 10 posts of Special Teacher (Touch/Visually Impaired Schools/Integrated Special Secondary Schools) under the department of empowerment of persons with disabilities, four posts of special teacher (Sign/Deaf Schools/Integrated Special Secondary Schools) and two posts of special teacher (Physically Disabled Schools/Integrated Special Secondary Schools).
Out of 1,02,953 registered candidates, 49,538 appeared in the examination, but only 329 candidates have been declared successful for the main examination. This means that even if all 329 candidates qualify in the mains, as many as 1,024 posts in Science will remain vacant.
For Home Science, the preliminary examination was held on December 21 for 206 posts in the male branch and 163 in the female branch, along with three additional posts. Out of 89,223 registered candidates, 55,475 appeared, and 2,784 candidates have been shortlisted for the main examination.
In Commerce, the preliminary examination was conducted on December 21 for 35 posts in the male branch and 23 in the female branch. Of the 66,165 registered candidates, 30,619 appeared in the examination, and 887 candidates have qualified for the main stage....
