LUCKNOW, July 20 -- The Uttar Pradesh government is all set to participate in the World Expo-2025 in Osaka, Japan, from July 21 to August 1. Invest UP, the investment promotion agency of the government, will set up a dedicated pavilion of the state at the expo. It will highlight the state's progressive policy landscape, industrial strengths, and transformative infrastructure. The state will use this opportunity to showcase its readiness for global partnerships across sectors like manufacturing, electronics, green hydrogen, and renewable energy, the government said on Saturday. A high-level delegation from U.P. will visit Japan in two phases. The first delegation, from July 21 to 24, will be led by finance minister Suresh Khanna. Senior officials of the state government, including principal secretary (planning) Alok Kumar, secretary to the chief minister, Amit Singh, and special secretary to CM, Vipin Kumar Jain will be part of the delegation. The second delegation, from July 28 to August 1, will be led by IT and electronics minister Sunil Kumar Sharma. Principal secretary (planning) Alok Kumar, additional CEO of Invest UP Shashank Chaudhary, additional CEO of UPSIDA Charchit Gaur and other senior officials will also be part of the delegation.
