LUCKNOW, Feb. 11 -- The Bar Council of Uttar Pradesh has approached the Supreme Court-appointed committee for permission to hold repolling in Lucknow between February 23 and 26. The third phase of voting for the Bar Council of UP election was cancelled in Lucknow on January 27, 2026, following alleged mismanagement. The Supreme Court has constituted a committee to monitor Bar Council elections in states where they are pending. The Bar Council has also requested approval to deploy 25 employees from Prayagraj to assist polling officers. The staff will be accommodated at the Bar Council's guest house in the state capital....
