UP assembly adjourned sine die
LUCKNOW, Feb. 21 -- The budget session of the Uttar Pradesh legislature was adjourned sine die on Friday. The budget session, which began on February 9, had 10 sittings that ran for a total of 75 hours and 8 minutes.
The house was adjourned twice, leaving the smooth conduct of the House for 72 hours and 45 minutes. On February 12, the House conducted session for maximum 10 hours and 7 minutes. A total of 694 notices were received, and 358 were accepted. Under Rule 56, a total 62 notices were received while under rule 300 a total 16 notices.
Out of the total 2,427 questions, 2,322 were received via online platform (95.67%). A total of 490 starred questions came during the session and 120 of them were answered. Written replies were given to 838 unstarred questions out of the total 1,466 submitted....
