PRAYAGRAJ, May 7 -- Two young men were killed in a road accident on the Prayagraj-Mirzapur Highway under the Bheerpur police outpost area of Karachhana police station in the trans-Yamuna region late on Tuesday night. According to the police, the accident took place at around 1 am near Nacchu Dhaba. A motorcycle carrying the two youths collided with a DJ vehicle. Both riders died on the spot after suffering severe head injuries. Officials said that neither of them was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which proved fatal. The deceased were identified as Ashish alias Chhotu ,22, son of Jwala Singh and a resident of Sarpathiya village under Naini police station, and Shivanand Kesarwani ,22, son of late Dinesh Kesarwani and a resident of Triveni Nagar. Both worked as halwais in the Meja area and were returning home on the same motorcycle after finishing work late at night....
