LUCKNOW, Feb. 20 -- The UP Anti-Corruption Organisation on Thursday conducted two trap operations in Ayodhya and Moradabad ranges, leading to the arrest of two government officials and a private individual while allegedly accepting bribes. The Ayodhya unit arrested Ahsan Ahmad, a senior assistant posted in the executive engineer, tubewell division's office Gauriganj in Amethi, while allegedly accepting a bribe of Rs.15,000, following a complaint by Brijesh K Singh of Amethi, who alleged the accused had demanded money to process and release his post-retirement dues.
