Bahraich, Jan. 15 -- Praveen Togadia, founder and president of the Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad, visited Kisan Degree College here on Wednesday and called upon the Hindu community to rise above caste divisions and stay united for collective progress. Addressing a gathering of workers, local residents, and supporters, Togadia emphasised that the true strength of Hindu society lies in its unity. "There are 114 crore Hindus in the country. Our power is in our unity. Instead of getting divided by caste, we must stand together as Hindus," he said. The veteran Hindu leader expressed deep concern over the skyrocketing cost of education, particularly of medical studies, which he said has become unaffordable for children from poor Hindu families. "Medical education fees have now reached up to Rs one crore - something completely beyond the reach of ordinary people," Togadia remarked. He urged the government to allocate 2-3% of the budget exclusively to education, and appealed to the public to put pressure on authorities to make quality education and healthcare accessible to all.
