PRAYAGRAJ, Feb. 3 -- A three year old girl was killed after being hit by a truck while she was playing outside her house in the Pure Baishan area under Udaipur police station in Pratapgarh on Monday afternoon. Police have seized the truck and taken the driver into custody and sent the child's body for postmortem. According to reports, Manya, daughter of Raju Saroj, was playing near the entrance of her house when she inadvertently wandered onto the road. At the same moment, a truck coming from the direction of Atheha struck her. The impact left the child severely injured, and she died on the spot. Villagers who witnessed the incident immediately stopped the truck and informed the police. A team from Udaipur police station reached the spot, gathered details about the incident.
