LUCKNOW, April 21 -- A dispute over a pair of newly ordered shoes allegedly turned fatal in a village under Ghughli police station of Maharajganj, on Monday, with a 16-year-old boy accused of killing his 15-year-old younger brother in what police describe as a sudden act of rage. The two minors quarrelled around 10:35 am over who would wear the shoes first, according to police. During the heated exchange, the elder boy allegedly picked up scissors lying nearby and attacked his younger brother, causing multiple injuries to his head and hands. Family members rushed to intervene as the injured teenager collapsed. He was taken to the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Ghughli before being referred to the district hospital due to his critical condition, where he was declared dead. Siddharth Kumar, additional superintendent of police (ASP), said, "Both the accused and the victim are minors. The officer added, "We have taken statements of the family members. As it involves the same family, we will soon produce the children in conflict with law in front of the juvenile justice board."...
