Shimla, Jan. 16 -- Six members of a family, including three children, were charred to death, while one person sustained burn injuries, in a fire that broke out in a village in Nauradhar area of Himachal Pradesh's Sirmaur district, officials said on Thursday. According to officials, the incident occurred at Talangna village late on Wednesday night when people had gathered at a house to celebrate Boda Tyohar - the biggest annual festival of Hattee tribes of Sirmaur. "Six bodies have been recovered. Two victims were from Rajgarh in Sirmaur, while four belonged to Nerva in Shimla district," Sangrah SDM Sunil Kayath said, adding that preliminary probe suggests the fire started from the chula (traditional hearth).
