AGRA, Feb. 19 -- An event to mark Shivaji Jayanti will be held at Jehangiri Mahal in Agra Fort on Thursday for the fourth consecutive year. According to the organisers, Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis and deputy chief minister Eknath Shinde will attend the programme. Cultural performances and a laser show will be organised on Thursday evening. The event is being organised by the Ajinkya Devgiri Pratishthan of Maharashtra. The celebration has been held at Agra Fort since 2023. Fadnavis attended the event in 2025 for the third consecutive year and thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath for supporting the celebration.
