Several districts witness rainfall and hailstorms
Jaipur, Feb. 19 -- Over ten districts of the state witnessed intermittent rain and hailstorms on Wednesday, bringing down temperatures and raising crop damage concerns among farmers.
In Jaipur, dark clouds engulfed the city by afternoon, while several districts reported hail of gram-sized pellets. Kota, Tonk and Alwar experienced intense rainfall lasting 20-25 minutes.

Weather experts said light cold conditions may persist for a day or two following the rainfall.

Agricultural losses are being assessed in affected areas, said officials.
A man was killed after being struck by lightning in Chittorgarh's Begun town, said police officers.
The Meteorological Department has forecast that after Wednesday's activity, weather conditions are likely to remain largely dry across most parts of the state for the next five to six days. However, parts of eastern Rajasthan may witness partial cloud cover on February 19. Weather experts have also indicated another possible change in conditions from February 20 onward....
