PRAYAGRAJ, Jan. 22 -- Concerns over alleged atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh strongly resonated at a grand convention of seers held at the Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) camp in the parade ground here on Wednesday during the ongoing Magh Mela. Addressing the gathering, Akhil Bharatiya Sant Samiti general secretary Jitendranand Saraswati said incidents in Bangladesh had deeply agitated the Hindu society and called upon the entire world to take note of the issue. He warned that if injustice against any community is not stopped in time, it could lead to unrest across the globe, he said. VHP International president Alok Kumar demanded an immediate halt to atrocities against Hindus in Bangladesh. Kashi Sumeru Peethadhishwar Jagadguru Nityanand Saraswati urged Hindus to remain united, stating that the community can no longer tolerate oppression and must respond collectively to attacks.
