Second leopard captured alive in Dudhwa buffer zone
Lakhimpur Kheri, Feb. 13 -- Three days after a leopard was captured in the Dhaurahra range on February 9, officials in the Dudhwa buffer zone on Thursday trapped another leopard near Naurangabad village in the north Belrayan range.
The animal had not harmed anyone, but its movement near human habitations since January 25 had triggered panic among residents. Two cages were placed at spots where the leopard was frequently seen.
