Lucknow, Nov. 2 -- The Madiaon police in Lucknow on Saturday arrested Resident Welfare Association (RWA) president Raman Kumar Singh ,39, for allegedly leading a group that attacked a brother-sister duo inside their flat in Eldeco City. Police said the incident occurred on October 23 after a heated argument over parking between the victim's family and a security guard of the apartment complex. The dispute turned violent when the RWA president and several others allegedly forced their way into the victims' flat, assaulted and molested the woman before locking her in a room, beat her brother, and stole jewellery , Rs.20,000 in cash, and a mobile. Officials said the arrest was made in line with Supreme Court and Human Rights Commission guidelines. The arrest came three days after three other accused Ram Janam Yadav, Sandeep Gupta, and Shivanshu Gupta, were detained for their alleged involvement in the case. htc...
