AGRA, Feb. 6 -- Ankit Khandelwal, municipal commissioner, Agra, has imposed a Rs.3 lakh penalty on an agency that was found wanting in maintaining cleanliness in localities near Taj Mahal and issued a warning to cancel its contract in case it did not improve its working. The action was taken after the civic official's surprise inspection of the said areas on Wednesday.
