PRAYAGRAJ, March 23 -- Two individuals assaulted a Jan Seva Kendra operator and looted approximately Rs 48,000 kept at the counter. The accused fled the scene immediately after the incident. The victim has filed a written complaint with the police. According to reports, Balaji Mishra, a resident of Harshpur under Sangipur police station area in Pratapgarh, stated in his complaint that his son, Shivam, operates a Jan Seva Kendra in Triveni Nagar (Tilakram), Lalganj. On Sunday morning around 8 am, Shivam arrived to open the center when two men from a neighboring village attacked him and allegedly looted around Rs 48,000 from the Kendra. Upon receiving the information, the victim's father rushed to the center and took his injured son to the Lalganj Trauma Center. Shivam subsequently submitted a written complaint to the police. Inspector of Lalganj police station, Alok Kumar, said preliminary reports suggest the incident stemmed from a dispute that escalated into a physical altercation.
