Jaipur, Jan. 29 -- The National Health Mission (NHM), Rajasthan, on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding with development partner Johns Hopkins Program for International Education in Gynecology and Obstetrics (Jhpiego) at the Health Bhawan auditorium to expand technical support and improve health outcomes for women and children across the state.
The agreement was signed by NHM mission director Dr Amit Yadav and Jhpiego country director Dr Amit Arun Shah.
Under the MoU, efforts will be made to strengthen antenatal and postnatal care services, introduce artificial intelligence-based risk stratification to identify high-risk pregnancies, and ensure appropriate use of ferric carboxymaltose for effective management of anaemia during pregnancy. htc...
