LUCKNOW, Feb. 1 -- The representatives of political parties drew divisional commissioner Vijay Vishwas Pant's attention to some problems faced by voters at a meeting on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) campaign of electoral rolls for assembly constituencies here on Saturday. The problems included issuance of notices to those who have submitted enumeration forms, difficulties in accepting Form-6 in rural areas, concerns related to the verification of Form-7 in some areas, and problems in getting Form-6 filled in newly developed colonies. The district election officer clarified that in no case will Form-6 be returned, field verification and action as per rules will be mandatory in Form-7 cases, and special camps will be held in newly developed colonies and residential areas developed under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana to ensure that Form-6 is filled out. During the meeting, the participants were informed that authorisation letters have been provided to booth level officers (BLOs) to facilitate individuals who are unable to visit the hearing centre due to old age or other reasons....
