Over 1,000 residents self-enlist as 15-day census drive opens
PRAYAGRAJ, May 8 -- Self-enumeration for Census 2027 commenced in the district on Thursday with public representatives leading the way, marking the start of a 15-day schedule rolled out by the district administration to ensure participation from all sections of society. According to additional district magistrate (finance and revenue) Vinita Singh, who is also the district census officer, the administration had appealed to all public representatives, including Members of Parliament, Members of the Legislative Assembly, and heads of government departments, to complete their self-enumeration and share photographs on social media to raise awareness.
