VARANASI, Jan. 17 -- Urban development minister AK Sharma on Friday accused opposition parties of distorting facts about the reconstruction of Manikarnika Ghat for political gain and misleading the public. In a post on X, Sharma questioned whether any steps had been taken to address long-standing problems at the ghat during the opposition's tenure, including during the Covid-19 pandemic.
