Nuances of charcoal portraits showcased at Lalit Kala Utsav
LUCKNOW, Feb. 8 -- On the occasion of its 65th Foundation Day, Uttar Pradesh State Lalit Kala Academy inaugurated three-day 'Lalit Kala Utsav' on Saturday. The event was formally opened by renowned painter S. Pranam Singh from Varanasi.
The festival's first day featured a painting competition themed 'Tourism and Environment', which saw participation from 73 students. Additionally, 43 participants showcased their creativity in a Kalash decoration competition. The highlight of the ceremony was a live demonstration by Prof Singh.
