PRAYAGRAJ, April 28 -- A 55-year-old man was allegedly beaten to death by his nephew with a stick after a dispute over a goat entering the house, in Bongai village, located under Ghurpur police station area of Prayagraj. The accused fled the scene after the incident. The victim was rushed by family members to Swaroop Rani Nehru Hospital, where doctors declared him dead. After receiving information, police from the Ghurpur station arrived at the scene and sent the body for post-mortem examination. A team has been deployed to search for the accused nephew. A case has been registered in connection with the matter, and the situation at the scene remains peaceful and under control, said ACP Kaudhiyara, Abdus Salam Khan.According to information, Nisar Ahmed, a resident of Bongai village in the Ghurpur area, was sitting outside his house when a goat belonging to his nephew Guddu, who lives in the same village, entered his home. In response, Nisar Ahmed struck the goat to drive it out. The goat was injured in the process. Shortly after, Guddu reached his uncle's house and a heated argument broke out. During the altercation, Guddu repeatedly hit Nisar on the head with a stick, causing him to collapse, bleeding and unconscious. Guddu then fled the scene.The accused, who allegedly killed his maternal uncle, was scheduled to get married the same day. Preparations for his wedding procession were underway at his home....
