Mayor holds key meeting ahead of LMC house session
LUCKNOW, Jan. 26 -- Ahead of the Lucknow Municipal Corporation's January 27 house meeting, mayor Sushma Kharkwal chaired an important coordination meeting at her camp office on Sunday to streamline preparations and build consensus on key civic issues, according to a press release from the mayor's office.
Deputy leader of the BJP corporators' group, Sushil Tiwari 'Pammi' and leader of the Samajwadi Party corporators' group, Kamran Beg, attended the meeting. The leaders discussed the proposed agenda for the House session, major urban development proposals, and several public welfare issues likely to be raised. The discussion also focused on ward-level problems, the progress of ongoing development works, and measures to improve basic civic amenities for residents.
