PRAYAGRAJ, Jan. 20 -- In a significant judgement, the Allahabad high court has ruled that if a married woman was living with another person without divorce, the two would not be entitled for protection from the court.

A two-judge bench comprising justices SP Kesarwani and YK Srivastava passed the order while dismissing a petition filed by Asha Devi and Suraj Kumar who had moved the court with a prayer that both were major and living as husband and wife and thus no one should interfere in their peaceful life.
