LUCKNOW, April 5 -- The Madiaon police arrested a man on Saturday for allegedly sodomising a minor, making a video of the crime and threatening to make it viral. "The accused has been identified as Anuj Gupta alias Akash Gangster, a 34-year-old rickshaw driver and resident of Shyam Vihar Colony, Faizullaganj, Madiaon," said SHO (Madiaon) Shivanand Mishra. As per police, the action followed a complaint filed on April 3 in which the victim's father alleged that the accused forcibly took his approximately 13-year-old son on a motorcycle to a deserted location. The accused then committed an unnatural act and filmed the assault, threatening to make the video public, if the incident was disclosed to anyone. "When the victim's family confronted the accused, he allegedly assaulted the complainant's sister-in-law with a knife, causing injury, and also verbally abused her," added a police press release.
