Prayagraj, Jan. 23 -- Police have arrested a man for allegedly posting misleading AI-generated videos on social media to defame sadhus, saints and the police during the Magh Mela. The accused has been identified as Deepak Tiwari alias Mukesh, a resident of Lakhanpur in Meja. He was arrested near Nand Kishore Inter College on Thursday. ADCP (Cyber Crime) Rajkumar Meena said the cyber crime unit is closely monitoring social media for false content related to the Magh Mela. During monitoring, police found baseless and misleading AI-generated posts on the Facebook profile of the accused. Police said the posts were aimed at tarnishing the image of the Magh Mela and creating anger and fear among the public. Further investigation is underway....
