Agra, Feb. 4 -- A 55-year-old man died while being taken by a recovery team to the Aligarh tehsil on Tuesday. Ismail Khan had taken a loan for purchasing a plot from a private finance company but had been unable to return it. In compliance with a court order, he was taken along by a recovery team. The Aligarh administration has denied charges of misbehaviour as levelled by family members. Pankaj Kumar, additional district magistrate (administration), said that a recovery certificate was issued in the name of Ismail Khan residing in Jeevangarh locality of Aligarh who had purchased a plot of 40 square meters while availing loan from Capital Trust Limited. Khan was not able to repay loan and lending company moved court. The court has been issuing reminders about recovery, and thus, a team from Aligarh tehsil reached Khan's house on Tuesday morning. "The defaulter again failed to pay the outstanding but agreed to turn up at tehsil and was being brought to the tehsil. Once reaching tehsil, Khan vomited and was admitted in Malkhan Singh Hospital in Aligarh where he died," Kumar said. The process for the auction of property was on. Family members of Khan alleged that he was misbehaved with and was dragged by the tehsil team. According to them, the team from Aligarh tehsil was abusive and the deceased died because of shock and insult. Kumar denied such allegations but added that to address such charges, the matter will be probed and if allegations are found to be correct, the guilty will face action....
