LUCKNOW, Feb. 14 -- The Lucknow division of Indian Railways launched an in-house live train information webpage at Gorakhpur Junction to improve passenger convenience and reduce congestion at enquiry counters. The digital system replaces the manually updated whiteboard that displayed departure details. It provides real-time information on trains scheduled to leave within the next four hours. Trains are arranged direction-wise, and diverted, regulated and cancelled services are clearly marked. Passengers can access the webpage by scanning a QR code at the station or visiting a designated link. The page auto-refreshes and displays updated platform numbers and departure times.
