LUCKNOW, Feb. 20 -- A joint inquiry committee of the LDA and the PWD has been formed to investigate alleged irregularities in the widening of a 3.6-km road stretch from Dubagga to the Outer Ring Road, built in December 2025 ahead of the inauguration of Rashtra Prerna Sthal in the Vasant Kunj area. The probe was ordered after allegations that the road widening was done without approvals and with less width and pavement thickness than prescribed. The LDA secretary, through a letter dated February 18, 2026, nominated Navneet Sharma, superintending engineer, to represent the authority.
