LUCKNOW, Jan. 29 -- A two-day Kisan Mela will be organised by CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (CSIR-CIMAP) on January 30 and 31. Centered on medicinal and aromatic crops, farmer prosperity and agri-entrepreneurship, the event aims to strengthen rural livelihoods and offer interaction between farmers, industry and scientists. Sanjay Kumar, senior scientist and convener of the programme highlighted that the fair will serve as a national platform for direct dialogue between over 5,000 farmers from 25 states, scientists and industry leaders.
