Kamaal R Khan arrested for firing at Mumbai residential building
India, Jan. 25 -- A
ctor Kamaal Rashid Khan, popularly known as KRK, was arrested by the Oshiwara police on Saturday in connection with a firing incident reported earlier this month in Mumbai's Andheri area. Confirming the arrest, DCP Dikshit Gedam said that KRK admitted the shots were fired accidentally from his licensed firearm while he was cleaning it. The weapon has since been seized, and further legal formalities are underway.
The incident took place on January 18 at Nalanda Society in Oshiwara, when two bullets were fired. One bullet was recovered from a second-floor flat belonging to a writer-director, while another was found on the fourth floor, which houses a model's residence. No injuries were reported. While initial CCTV footage failed to provide any leads, forensic analysis later suggested that the bullets may have been fired from KRK's bungalow.
