India, Feb. 19 -- A ctor Jiyaa Shankar has confirmed she is in a happy relationship, even as she continues to be linked with her Bigg Boss OTT 2 co-contestant Abhishek Malhan. Opening up about modern love, the actor called cheating an absolute deal-breaker and spoke about how online trolling affects her personal life. In a recent interview, Jiyaa addressed how link-up rumours often spill over to her partner and his family. "We are used to ignoring it, but the person we are with, it does affect things. Especially if they are not from our field, their family gets involved too," she told Free Press Journal. The actor said she tries to shield her partner from unnecessary scrutiny. "Say whatever you want to me, I don't care. But when it comes to that person, it's like no, he doesn't deserve this." She added that she is grateful for her partner's understanding nature but remains protective of the relati-onship as she continues to "date to marry". "I'm glad my partner is understanding. He always tells me not to worry. But I still try to make sure he feels secure," she said. Jiyaa adds that she has always viewed relationships with long-term intent. "I have always dated to marry. But if it doesn't work out, I cannot sit at home depressed. If it ends and the other person moves on, why should I sit crying? I am going to wear my heart on my sleeve."...
