Lucknow, Jan. 1 -- Dr Bindravan Lal Sharma, assistant director, higher education, has been appointed as Interim director of Higher Education until further orders. The post became vacant after Dr Amit Bhardwaj, director of Higher Education, retired on December 31, 2025. Following this, the higher education department decided to give Dr Sharma the additional charge.
