Lucknow, March 6 -- The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) is developing organised sector-based industrial cities along the Yamuna Expressway, with projects such as a Medical Device Park, Electronics Manufacturing Cluster, Toy City and Apparel Park, besides Film City and FinTech City. YEIDA CEO Rakesh Kumar Singh said on Thursday that the projects aim to transform the expressway into a multi-sector industrial corridor. The 350-acre Medical Device Park in Sector 28 and the 200-acre Electronics Manufacturing Cluster in Sector 24 are intended to promote high-value manufacturing.A 100-acre Toy City in Sector 33 and a 175-acre Apparel Park in Sector 29 will support labour-intensive industries and help build an integrated supply chain. The proposed 1,000-acre Film City in Sector 21 is planned as a hub for media, content production and digital services, while the 500-acre FinTech City in Sector 11 will link industry with digital financial services. Land has also been earmarked for a Japanese city in Sector 5A, a Korean city in Sector 4 and a Singapore city in Sector 7 .A logistics park in Tappal and an MSME park in Sector 29 are expected to strengthen supply chains and create employment, while wider development is likely to reshape the economic landscape of western Uttar Pradesh.htc...
