ICRAME meet focuses on robotics' future
Lucknow, Jan. 31 -- The two-day International Conference on Robotics, Automation and Mechanical Engineering (ICRAME 2026) began at Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti Language University on Friday, bringing together researchers, experts, industry representatives and policymakers from India and abroad.
Speaking at the inaugural session, prof JP Pandey, vice-chancellor of Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), said automation would play a key role not only in improving productivity but also in generating employment. He described robotics and automation as the foundation of the next industrial revolution and stressed the importance of strong fundamentals in technical education. He also spoke about the future relevance, challenges and possible applications of quantum computing in robotics....
