Haridwar, April 22 -- The district administration has intensified monitoring, on-site assessments and weekly progress of projects related to the upcoming Ardh Kumbh to be held in Haridwar district in 2027, officials said, adding that the deadline for completion of all fair-related works has been set to end of October this year. Mela officer for Ardh Kumbh Sonika, along with other officials, has been conducting regular inspections and reviewing the progress of nearly three dozen projects being executed under the Kumbh budget across Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal district and Tehri Garhwal district. "Quality of works is being ensured for the mega fair. Directions have been issued to all concerned departments and nodal agencies to ensure that all projects are completed by October end," Sonika said. She added that arrangements are being made for the availability and stocking of raw materials, equipment and logistics so that work does not get affected during festive bathing days, weekends or the monsoon season....
