LUCKNOW, Feb. 21 -- Congress Legislature Party (CLP) leader Aradhana Mishra on Friday alleged that increasing budget size was a mere pretence. "If there is no expenditure to be done, what benefit does it provide to the people of the state by showing a large budget?," she asked. "The government has neither the will to spend the budget nor to provide permanent jobs to the youth. The budget size is constantly increasing, but expenditures are the same as they were five years ago," Mishra alleged. "This time, the government has presented a budget of Rs 9.12 lakh crore.
