New Delhi, Feb. 20 -- There is likely to be a gradual rise in day temperature by 3-4 degree C and night temperatures by 2-3 degree C over northwest India, India Meteorological Department has warned on Thursday. "We can expect a gradual rise in temperatures now as we move towards the pre-monsoon season from March. A western disturbance has just impacted NW India which led to a big fall in day temperatures. That will change now. Another feeble WD is expected on February 22 but we are not expecting much change," said M Mohapatra, director general, IMD. "Gradual rise in maximum temperature by 3-4degC and minimum temperature by 2-3degC likely over plains of Northwest India during next 7 days," IMD said.P7...
