India, April 19 -- Several plays and musical performances were organised to celebrate the golden jubilee of Bhartendu Natya Akademi. Inaugurated by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the event opened with the play Refund and a kathak dance performance by Varanasi-based artiste Vishal Krishna. Governor Anandiben Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak, and others visited the event and were welcomed by BNA chairman Rati Shankar Tripathi and director Bipin Tripathi. Singers Malini Awasthi and Suchritat Dasgupta gave musical performances. Plays organised during the course of the festival included Daddy, Purnavtaar, Ballygunge 1990 , Nirman Se Nirvan Tak, Massage, Yeh Kaisa Insaaf, Meri Yatra Atal Yatra, Bhoodi Kaki, Rashmirathi, Adishakti Ramshakti, Dootvakyam, Malan Albeli, and Ab Na Banegi Dehri. The dance drama Shri Krishna Ki Vanshi was also presented. Film actors Rakesh Bedi and Anup Soni were the star attraction during the festival....
