Gkp-Bengaluru IndiGo flight makes emergency landing
Lucknow, Jan. 13 -- An IndiGo flight en route from Gorakhpur to Bengaluru was forced to make an emergency landing at Varanasi airport on Tuesday after a bird hit.
The aircraft was carrying 216 passengers at the time of the incident.
Following the bird hit, the pilot diverted the flight as a precautionary measure and safely landed the aircraft at Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport, Varanasi.
Airport authorities confirmed that all 216 passengers are safe and no injuries were reported.
The aircraft was taken for technical inspection, and further action is being taken....
